Actor. Writer. ABC's The Bachelor/Bachelorette Super-Fan.
Kimberly was born and raised on the dusty plains of Oklahoma, and though she does NOT miss “real weather,” she DOES miss “real queso”. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she obtained her B.A. in Journalism but mostly learned about neat ways to store alcohol in a dorm. She then lived in Denver and Dallas where she performed in professional stage productions and earned her Actor’s Equity card. After moving to LA, Kimberly wrote an original pilot, “Perfect”, that Amazon Studios optioned in 2012.
Kimberly is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and recent credits include: Perry Mason (HBO), VEEP (HBO), Good Girls (NBC), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC), Alex, Inc. (ABC), Junketeers (Comedy Central), and SuperMansion (Crackle); as well as national commercial campaigns for Progressive, Total Wireless, and Ross Dress for Less.
Kimberly has spent the last ten years training, teaching, and performing at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, and still performs in the all-improv Sunday Company alumni show, Bad Company as well as the long-form improv bonanza, The Crazy Uncle Joe show. Additionally, Kimberly created, directed, and starred in the all-woman character stand-up show, "Sharon Merkle Presents: Ladiez Laffin' - a Stand-Up Comedy Graduation Show," also performed at The Groundlings.
